About UsPROFILE OF THE FOUNDER

Dr. Anthony Yaw Baah is the Founder and Executive Director of Kaizen Institute for Labour Economics. He is a Labour Economist and former Secretary General of Trades Union Congress (TUC)-Ghana from 2016 to 2024. Prior to his election as Deputy Secretary General in 2008 and, subsequently, as Secretary General of the TUC, Dr. Baah served as Head of TUC’s Research Department and Director of Labour Research and Policy Institute.Dr. Baah holds PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom, MSc in Financial Economics from the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, Norway, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics with French from the University of Ghana, Legon.
